Robert Rios is a dedicated public servant, marketing professional, and small business owner who proudly serves as a Councilman At-Large in Hillside, NJ. As a Hillside resident, Robert is deeply committed to creating a more connected, transparent, and forward-thinking local government that serves the needs of all residents. At home, he enjoys life with his wife, Sonia, and their two dogs, Luna and Cali.
 

As Vice President of the Hillside Council, Robert plays a key role in shaping the township’s policies. He advocates for fiscal responsibility, infrastructure improvements, and meaningful community engagement, ensuring that Hillside’s resources are used efficiently and equitably to serve every neighborhood.

With over 15 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, and business development, Robert brings a strategic and people-centered approach to public service. He currently serves as the Director of Communications for the Township of Randolph, where he leads internal and external communications, public relations, and digital engagement initiatives. In this role, he uses modern technology to build transparency and strengthen public trust.
 

Robert is also the founder of Social Vibes Marketing, a creative agency that helps small and mid-sized businesses bring their brands to life through digital strategy, content creation, and brand storytelling. His entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to helping others grow have made him a trusted advisor to businesses in Hillside and across New Jersey.
