Josianne “Josie” Payoute is a proud Hillside resident, educator, and HR professional with over 20 years of experience in public service. A passionate advocate and community leader, she serves on the Hillside Library Board, Flag Raising Committee, and Gems to Jewels Board. Josie is running for Council At-Large to ensure every voice in Hillside is heard, respected, and empowered.
 

Hillside is home. It’s where I’ve raised my family, served as an educator, led community initiatives, and built a life rooted in service and progress. I’m running for Council At-Large because I believe our town deserves leadership that is accessible, accountable, and action-driven. I want to bring fresh ideas and proven experience to Town Hall—grounded in compassion, fairness, and the belief that we all rise when we work together.
